Fresh off a win in last weekend's opening leg of the Mary Murphy B.C. Breeders Stakes for sophomore pacing fillies, Hurts So Bad returned to victory lane during Saturday's second session for trainer/driver Bill Davis.

In the evening's first $7,500 division, Davis sent Hurts So Bad to the lead from fourth after the :27-second opening panel and the favourite cruised through middle fractions of :56.2 and 1:26.4 en route to the career-best 1:57.1 triumph. Pureform Pandora (Scott Knight) finished three lengths behind in second and Yanotherhos (Brad Watt) was third.

Hurts So Bad paid $3.10 to win. The homebred Power Of Art-Scruffian filly is owned by the J J J Stables of Aldergrove, B.C. She now has two wins in 10 seasonal starts.

The other division was won by Im Tu Die For, a runner-up in the first leg to Hurts So Bad, who rallied home off cover to prevail this time out by half a length over Allittleforplace (Serge Masse) in 1:58.2. Davis' other opening leg winner, Shadow Time, finished nearly three lengths behind in third during round two.

Glenn White trains and drives the Allamerican Cobalt-Gypsy Soul filly for owner Ron Julien of Langley, B.C. The win was also her second in 10 seasonal starts and fastest yet. Im Tu Die For paid $16.40 for the mild 7-1 upset.
