Officials with Clinton Raceway have announced that pilot Wally Hennessey has been selected as the eighth and final driver to participate in this year's edition of the Legends Trot on Legends Day, Sunday, September 4.

Hennessey will join fellow reinsmen Doug Brown, John Campbell, Jim Doherty, Bud Fritz, Ray Remmen and Ron Waples in $20,000 event, a biennial fundraiser for the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation.

Drivers' autographs will be available from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Hall of Fame pilots Clint Galbraith and Keith Waples will join the Legends Trot drivers for the session.

First-race post time on Legends Day will be 1:30 p.m.
