Sulky sitter Marc Campbell stole the show at the Charlottetown Driving Park on Sunday afternoon, thanks to his six-win performance on the 11-race card
.
Campbell, who earlier this year competed in the National Driving Championship at Fraser Downs, bagged a natural hat trick starting in Race 2. He went wire-to-wire with Springbrook Rovana (2:01.4) before clicking with Hunters Green (1:59.4) and then Cavalry Officer (2:02).
He returned to victory lane in Race 8 with Girl On Broadway (1:58.3), and came right back in the very next dash with Come Back Quick (2:00.4). He capped off his big day at the office with a four-length romp behind Zodiac Mac (1:59.4) in Race 11.
The six-win performance bumped Campbell’s 2009 win total to 40, while his lifetime number stands at 368. The resident of Orwell, PE currently sits with lifetime earnings of $776,675.
