Hey Kids, Meet 'Stoney'

Trot 4 Kids will be headed to the Country Heritage Park in Milton, Ont. every Monday throughout the summer to conduct an informative learning session called 'Hands On

Horses.'

Children that have been signed up for summer camp at the park will be treated to an up close and personal visit with 'Stoney' The Standardbred.

Children will learn a bit about horses and harness racing in a fun setting. Trot 4 Kids will be providing each child with the newest edition of the Trot 4 Kids Activity Book filled with loads of fun quizzes and games.

Each year, Trot 4 Kids is able to educate over 500 children over the course of the summer about standardbred horses and what makes them so special. Children learn about what it takes to keep a horse happy and healthy, feed, anatomy as well as get to meet and feed carrots to the infamous Stoney.

Children will also be able to explore the park which encompasses 80 acres and has over 30 buildings on site.

Campers will join in the farm chores, swim, meet farm animals, spin wool and even get the chance to make ice cream.
