Scott Zeron owned the winner’s circle at Flamboro Downs on Sunday thanks to a six-win performance at Canada’s fastest half-mile oval.

Wins with P L Durango (2:01.4), I Am Sam Iam (1:53.4), Brooklets Typhoon (1:56.2), Ari S (1:56.3), Hammers Taylrs Toy (1:55.3) and The Camster (1:58.4) helped him push this year’s win total to 293 – a personal best for the Oakville, ON resident.

Zeron, a career winner of 723 races and purses in excess of $5.4 million, is quickly closing in on $2 million in earnings this season. He enjoyed a career year in 2009 when he racked up more than $2.1 million in earnings and he’s on the verge of surpassing that total with more than five months of racing remaining for the 2010 season.
