Six-Bagger For St Pierre

Driver Denis St Pierre kicked off Friday’s 15-race card at Rideau Carleton Raceway with a 2:00.4 victory aboard E W Fisher for trainer Patrick Lang and continued his winning ways throughout the night to record six tallies

St Pierre and Fox Valley Caprice dominated the third race winning by over eight lengths in 2:02 for trainer Colin Johnson. He also scored with the Maurice Houle-trained Kashadechakrika (1:58.3) in the sixth race, before going back-to-back starting in the ninth race with Dreamer Ii, a six-length winner in 1:58.3 for Chance Stewart, and Shes Alittle Shady (1:57.4) for Philip Doyle. St Dennis earned his final win in the night cap with another eight-length winner, Chocolatine (1:53.3), for Stewart.

The resident of Laval, Quebec, who currently sits fourth in the track’s drivers standings, is just one win shy of 100 this year and 23 away from the 3,000 mark.

With his victory in the seventh race aboard the Gary McDonald pupil Manet Hanover (2:00), driver Ted McDonald is now just two wins away from reaching the 3,000-win milestone himself.
