Jeffrey Snyder, one of the owners of North America Cup and Meadowlands Pace winner Well Said, has commented on whether or not his star Western Hanover colt will be contesting the famed Little Brown Jug

.

“We have the date of the Little Brown Jug circled on our calendar,” Snyder was quoted as saying in a release sent out by Little Brown Jug publicity today.

Well Said, who also won the 2008 Breeders Crown Two-Year-Old Colt Pace, has captured five of six starts this season and has career earnings which total $1,914,627. Susan Grange of Cheltenham, Ont., also owns half-interest in the colt.

“It is a little bit early to say for certain we will start Well Said in the Jug, but we love the race and the Delaware County Fair is a great experience," Snyder said. "We will race in the Adios (eliminations) this week and in the (Oliver Wendell) Holmes on August 8 at the Meadowlands."
