In a single-horse dash for the cash, three-year-old gelding Majian Chester trotted a mile in 2:04.4 in the $5,855 Nova Scotia Stake on Wednesday at Inverness Raceway.
James Ripley trains and drives the chestnut Nikes Image gelding out the Armbro Goal mare System for owner Marylea Ripley of Amherst, N.S. The outing was counted as Majian Chester's second win in six career starts and the purse bumped his earnings to $11,102.
