Grand River Raceway's new series 'From Bike To Mic' continues on June 29 featuring another young reinsman as guest announcer during the evening.

Driver Scott Young makes his race-calling debut in race four during the Fun & Frivolity Friday night card. The 20-year-old reinsman has some previous experience on the airwaves, having studied Broadcast Journalism at Sheridan College.

The Guelph, Ont. resident is a career winner of 136 races and more than $1.1 million in purses. He won his first dash two years ago in just his 12th outing, when he steered Wincredulous to a 21-1 upset at Georgian Downs.

Young is already on queue to double his numbers from last year with 59 wins thus far in 2012. He’s currently ranked fifth in the Hanover Raceway dash standings and has broken into the top 10 for the first time at Grand River Raceway.

The program for Friday night's card is available here. Post time for race one is 7:05 p.m.
