He may not be returning to tracks which helped him compile 62 wins and bank over $2.1-million in career purse earnings, but Escape The Wind, the hard-hitting 12-year-old son of Artiscape, will be performing in front of fans once again this coming weekend.

Details have been released for the 2012 edition of the Standardrama Horse Show, the first stop in the Ontario Standardbred Show Series 2012.

The Standardrama Horse Show is set for this Sunday (June 24). The show will get underway at 9:00 a.m. at the Orono Fairgrounds in Clarington, Ont. This year you can see Escape The Wind perform for the first time in the ring.

Participants of the series need to attend three of the four shows to be eligible for year-end awards. There is no charge for spectators.

The organization welcomes everyone to come out and see what standardbreds can do once their racing days are over. The horse will take part in classes such as Dressage, Jumping, Showmanship, Driving and Games.

The show will have a silent auction, including limited-edition prints and other fantastic items.

I love Canadian Harness Racing will on hand to answer questions about harness racing.

Everyone is welcome to come out and support our horses, the most valued part of our industry!
