Every other horse in the field was at least four years her junior, but that didn’t stop I’m Justa Lady from showing the youngsters how it’s done, as she captured her second straight $25,000 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Trot Monday at The Meadows.

Im Justa Lady got away well but found herself shuffled to fourth, 2 lengths back, at the top of the lane. The venerable nine-year-old daughter of Inquirer-Quite Becoming unleashed a furious charge through the Lightning Lane for Tony Hall that carried her to a half-length victory in 1:55.2.

The first-over Hawaiianphotograph raced gamely for second while the front-ending Southwind Wasabi saved show. Bill Daumit trains Im Justa Lady, who triumphed for the 66th time in 201 career starts and extended her lifetime bankroll to $562,569, for Patricia Daumit and Janet Collins.

Dave Palone drove three winners on the 13-race card.
