Major players from the Alberta racing industry were recently featured on Alberta Primetime's television segment.

In a two-part feature, host Brandy Yanchyk talks to Dr. David Reid of Horse Racing Alberta, Les Butler of Northlands Park and Mat Monaco of the Alberta HBPA discuss the need of a racetrack in the Calgary market, the exodus of horsemen to other regions, simulcast and other revenue avenues, and the future of horse racing in Alberta.
