Lismorebella, the three-quarter sister to double millionaire Lis Mara, kicked off her career with a winning effort on Thursday evening at Woodbine Racetrack
.
The three-year-old daughter of Camluck-Lisheen rode cover throughout the final half of the mile en route to rallying for the 1:55.4 decision for trainer Darren McCall and driver Paul MacDonell.
Bred and owned by Tim Rooney of Yonkers, NY, Lismorebella adds to the lore of her ultra-productive dam. In addition to producing Lis Mara (1:47.3 - $2,2270,674), she has also produced speedballs like Lis Deo (1:50.2 - $276,273), Lisagain (1:50 - $231,081) and Lisjune (1:50.4 - $67,285).
