Monday morning's qualifiers at Mohawk Racetrack were headlined by the second seasonal qualifier of O'Brien Award nominee and Breeders Crown victor Luck Be Withyou.
With James MacDonald once again in the sulky, Luck Be Withyou hammered out panels of :27.4, :56.3 and 1:25.1 before comfortably pacing home in :28.1 to hit the wire in 1:53.2. Twin B Tenacious (Casie Coleman training and driving) was nearly eight lengths back in second.
Bill Cass trains the Western Ideal - Trim Hanover colt for Toronto's John Craig. Luckbewithyou is ranked #2 in the Trot North America Cup Spring Book, at odds of 8-1.
