Trot Insider has received an update regarding the injuries Roger Mayotte sustained during the accident which took place last night at Woodbine Racetrack

.

Trot Insider has learned that Mayotte suffered a dislocated shoulder, a broken arm and possible fractured pelvis as a result of last night's accident in the Ontario Boys Pacing Series final at Woodbine Racetrack.

"He was complaining of pain in his pelvic region so he had a x-ray done," said Roger Mayotte's wife, Julia. "The doctors aren't sure of the extent of the injury there and there's really nothing they can do about it."

Mayotte was en route to another building in Etobicoke's William Osler Health Centre for more x-rays, with surgery on the arm and shoulder tentatively scheduled for Friday.
