Great Canadian Gaming has released the nomination lists for three of the major stakes events – the Confederation Cup, the Upper Canada Cup and the Earl Rowe Memorial
– offered later this season at Flamboro Downs and Georgian Downs.
This year’s Confederation Cup has attracted 86 nominees including 2008 O’Brien Award winner, Nebupanezzar, Woodrow Wilson champ, Major In Art, and Breeders Crown winner, Well Said.
The inaugural edition of the Upper Canada Cup has attracted 66 nominees including Battle Of Waterloo winner, Trail Boss, OSS Gold performer, Millionaire Cam, and OSS Grassroots champ, Fast Pay.
There were 28 nominees to this year’s Earl Rowe Memorial including the defending champ, Armbro Chronicle, and Abbey Road C, who captured the 2004 edition.
