After having lobbied the state government in the past, the 'Save the Horse Committee' has been reinstated in New Jersey by the Monmouth County Board of Freeholders.

An article by the The Asbury Park Press explains that he committee will be chaired by Nancy Grbelja and will also feature Michael J. Mahon, Greg Dey, Tom Luchento, Anthony T. Abbatiello, John Ryan, Pat Butch, Anthony Peretti, Mark Mullen, John Ciufo, John Newman and Edward Eastman.

The committee lobbied the government two years ago to help the horse racing industry.
