Bouncy Ponies Invade John Labatt Centre

This past Sunday, three of the top drivers at The Raceway at the Western Fair District, Scott Young, Scott Wray and Rob Sparling Jr., joined WFD announcer Greg Blanchard, marketing co-ordinator Sarah Imrie and the 'Be Entertained' team for a fun-filled day

of promoting the track and catching a new kind of racing fan's attention.

The WFD team took over the John Labatt's Centre in London during an exciting NBL basketball game in which the London Lightning dominated the court against the Oshawa Power.

The most thrilling part of the game? As always, the half time show!

With 'Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy' echoing throughout the stadium, Blanchard gave out the official call for the 'London Lightning Bouncy Pony Stake Race.'

Wray and Young lined up at the gate to face off against two lucky London Lightning fans. Young demonstrated his excellent pony-riding skills and crossed the finish line ahead of the pack, but when the dust had settled, everybody walked away winners, as the fans walked away with racetrack swag.
