Ridgeline beat Post 1 starter C A Marauder (James Burke) off the gate from the next position over and posted stations of :27.1, :56.2 and 1:24.3 en route to a two and a half length score in 1:52.4.
Lilsharkshooter (Jim Marino) rallied off the cover of his stablemate, Lil Dude Starrbuck (Scott Knight), to finish ahead in second.
Ridgeline now sports two wins and two seconds on his five-race record for 2010 for J J J Stables of Aldergrove, B.C. and Casandra Uppal of Blaine, Washington. The lion’s share of the purse pushed his yearly winnings to over $20,000. The six-year-old son of Ironridge-Humming Strings boasts 21 victories lifetime and over $275,000 in earnings.
