Saratoga To Donate $100,000

Saratoga Casino and Raceway will hold its ninth annual Make a Difference event next week, presenting 17 local charitable organizations with monetary donations totaling $100,000.

The 2013 Make a Difference event will take place on Tuesday, December 10, once again offering tremendous support to local charities by sustaining various programs and initiatives for the coming year. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the event will be held inside the casino’s Vapor Night Club. Around 150 guests from the community are expected to attend.

“This event is one we look forward to every year,” said Jamie Hartman, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Saratoga Casino and Raceway. “Supporting local organizations that make a difference in our community is a privilege. We are delighted to be in the position to help ensure that the programs these organizations provide can continue to improve the lives of so many of our employees, families, and friends.”
