Major League N posted repeat victories in the $11,000 Fillies and Mares Preferred Pace at Flamboro Downs with a similar gate-to-wire tactic on Thursday, Dec. 14.
With Ed Hensley in tow, the Ashleigh Hensley student led every panel through splits in :28, :57 and 1:25.1 before continuing home to win by 2-3/4 lengths in 1:54.2. In The Mood (J Harris) finished second and Wildcat Delight (Brett MacDonald) was third.
Ed & Ashleigh Hensley own the 10-year-old Gotta Go Cullen mare. Major League N won her 11th of the season and 37th career victory. She moved her bankroll to $359,868. The race favourite returned $3.40 to win.
