The post position gods weren’t very kind to Twin B Brat who drew post seven in Monday’s $11,000 Preferred 2 Pace at Western Raceway, but he managed to overcome the obstacle and secure the win by a narrow margin

Bruce Richardson hustled Twin B Brat to the position of command from his outside post, and after slicing out splits of :28, :57.3 and 1:25.4 he tacked on a :29.4 closing panel to win by a neck over Monster In Law in 1:55.3. Off The Schneid grabbed the show dough in the eight-horse affair.
The victory was part of a training double on the card for conditioner Ervin Abdulov. He shares ownership on the six-year-old son of Million Dollar Cam-Im No Brat with Avni Abdulov of London, ON. It was the 12th tally of the season in 34 tries for the gelding who lifted his lifetime earnings to $136,373 with the win.
