Stirling Cadet was victorious in this week's edition of the $18,000 Open Handicap Trot at Saratoga Raceway on Sunday (Nov. 29), trotting the winning mile in 1:56.
Driven by Frank Coppola and trained by Jackie Rousse, the four-year-old gelding by Conway Hall never had an anxious moment, as he cut the mile, easily winning the feature by two lengths. Sixth Man finished second and Fox Valley Veto was third.
Stirling Cadet has won two of his four starts this month. He is owned by Kellogg Racing Stables Ll and Janie Martin.
