'Name Our Chantal' In Hong Kong

Canada’s Chantal Sutherland will be one of 12 jockeys participating in next month’s Cathay Pacific International Jockeys’ Championship in Hong Kong, and Happy Valley Racecourse is running a unique promotion

which requires coming up with a Hong Kong name for the foreign riders.

Sutherland, who currently sits second in the standings at Woodbine Racetrack, has never ridden at Hong Kong Racetrack but she is excited about the upcoming journey and the contest which has been dubbed “Name Our Chantal”.
