Hoosier Park Race Marketing Affairs Director Tammy Knox has been honoured in Anderson, Indiana.

According to a report by The Carmi Times, Knox and 14 others received Athena International's Shining Star Award on November 15.

She was nominated by Tina Baker, who stated that Knox, "has done an excellent job of coordinating activities with local non-profits and Hoosier Park team members."

Athena International has been honouring strong, accomplished professional women each year since 1982.
