Adkins Hanover Headlines Preferred

Adkins Hanover goes for his 14th win of the season, starting from post two in the $2,550 Preferred Pace on Sunday, November 25 at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Corey MacPherson drives the Trevor Hicken trainee for owner Perry Burke of Grosse-Ile., Que. The eight-year-old son of Western Ideal has over $33,000 in the bank.

Red Magician gets rail control with Adam Merner in the bike while Forever Paradise has a two-race win streak on the line from post three for driver Gilles Barrieau.

Other entries include Woggy Rocks, Czar Seelster, Allstar Seelster, and Rose Run Quest.

The Open Mare Pace lines up in race 10 in the Geraldine Watts Memorial for a $2,250 purse.

Good Luck Kathy captured the event last week but is shouldered with post six on Sunday for driver Jason Hughes, conditioner Jennifer Trainor and owner Danny Birt of Stratford.

Woodmere Articblue was a narrow miss in this class last week and gets post four on Sunday for trainer-driver Campbell.

The class also includes Brodys Leona, Dusty Lane Zendaya, Prettyndangerous, and Itsallabouthebass.

Race 4 has a newcomer to Island racing with Donald Doc leaving off the rail for new owner-trainer-driver Terry Gallant. The four-year-old son of Big Bad John has 10 wins lifetime, $48,280 in earnings, and a mark of 1:54.4 taken over Dayton Raceway in Ohio. Donald Doc recently went through the Blooded Horse Sale in Ohio for $3,500 U.S.

First-race post for the 12-race card is 12:30pm.
