The Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) Two-Year-Old preliminaries begin on Saturday, Nov. 23. There are three filly pace and three filly trot $20,000 divisions at Dover Downs.

The 2008 frosh class of filly trotters appears to be the finest in stakes history. The first of two weeks of prelims begin with both ends of the daily double. Lloyd Arnold's Funny Briefs (Vic Kirby), Bobby Myers' Political Post (Eddie Davis Jr.) and Winbak Farm's Court Critic (Jeff Fout) lead the first race while Barbato, Abramo and Joie De Vie Farm's Tonis Wink (Howard Parker), winner of the $100,000 final at Harrington takes on Rod Allen's Copper Harbor (Tim Tetrick) and Kathleen Kuebler's No More Games (Cory Callahan) in the second race.

In the other $20,000 DSBF trot, The Felton Queen (Jim Morand), Winbak Farm's Datzfast (Fout) and Pam Wagner's JAs Commando (Kirby) head the fourth race.

The first of the DSBF paces pits VIP Internet Stable's Lofty Expectations (Jim Morand) and Mata Hari, owned, trained and driven by Jack Parker and Eric Schultz, both winners of overnight races last week, Charles and Diane Coursey's AJs Lilgamblngal (Brandon Givens), another recent winner.

In the second filly pace, K&R Racing and Teague Inc.'s Shes Everything (Morand) puts a four-race win streak on the line against Little Bit Tricky (Ross Wolfenden), a winner of four of five starts for Jim and Brent Outten and Green Racing, Only Money's Always Thinking (Eddie Davis Jr.) also posted a recent victory.

The final section features several fast performers including Carter Racing Stable and Bobby Myers' Rustys Joy, Wish You Were Me (George Dennis), owned by Julianne Watkins and trainer Lorie Davis and Tom Cooke's Toms Toy (Callahan).

The second round of preliminaries is set for next Saturday with the top eight after pace and trot prelims return for a $100,000 final on Sunday, Dec. 7 for fillies and Monday, Dec. 8 for colts and geldings.
