Xtreme Sprint & Enduro Championships Set

The Xtreme Racing Series Championships take place at Georgian Downs on Tuesday, November 16

and the fields have been drawn.

The $20,000 Xtreme Sprint is a five-eights mile test and will go postward as Race 9 with an approximate post time of 10:05 p.m. The five year old No Pan Intended mare, Panastasia, who finished at the top of the point standing s with 125 following two wins and a second in qualifying legs, drew post 7 in the nine horse event for driver Mike Whelan.

A field of 13 trotters will contest the $20,000 Xtreme Enduro Championship at a distance of one and three-eighths miles. The Enduro goes postward as Race 10 with an estimated post time of 10:25 p.m.

Mr Martin, a six-year-old gelded son of Yankee Glide was undefeated in three legs of the Enduro Series and drew post 7 for driver Paul MacKenzie.

The Xtreme Racing Series was presented by Standardbred Canada in co-operation with the Ontario Harness Horse Association, Flamboro Downs, Georgian Downs, Grand River Raceway, Kawartha Downs and Western Fair.

A total of 45 different horses competed in 9 qualifying legs of the Xtreme Sprint Series while 27 horses took part in three Xtreme Enduro events.
