C L Eighty Takes CDP Feature

C L Eighty held off a late charge by Beauty Spur over a rain slicked track rated good to win the Thursday feature in 2:01.3 at the Charlottetown Driving Park

.

Kenny Arsenault, who had two winners on the card, mapped out the winning trip with C L Eighty for owner Vincent Hickey of Scoudouc Road, NB. Mchales Gravy rounded out the top three.

Island Jazzystar recorded the fastest mile of the night putting in a rock solid 1:59.4 score for driver Corey MacPherson.

Sandberg, with Keith Ford in the bike, won the Bell-Aliant Pioneers pace in 2:01.1 for owners Douglas Neill and Ben Matheson. Red Man A was second with Longworth Midnight finishing third.

Triage won her second in-a-row for driver Gary Chappell, trainer Stacy Lund
and owner Ron Cobb of Kensington, PE. Lund sent out three winners last week at the CDP while her regular pilot, Chappell, drove four winners on the rainy night.
