The betting public felt good about Iwontdothatagain’s chances of winning Friday’s $12,000 Open Pace at Fraser Downs, and the gelding didn’t disappoint his backers thanks to a 1:53.2 triumph in the featured affair.

Iwontdothatagain got away next-to-last in the five-horse group, which was led by Cool Cowboy to the quarter pole in :27.1. He then took a backseat to Boiling Oar who brushed to the front and then laid down the first-half clocking of :58.

After the second-quarter breather, Boiling Oar then stepped the third quarter in :28 which put him past the three-quarter pole in 1:26. A :27.2 closing panel proved to be just enough for the gelding to post the half-length triumph over Boiling Oar in 1:53.2. Peace Out Posse nabbed the show dough.

Trainer/driver Kelly Hoerdt shares ownership on the eight-year-old son of Stonebridge Regal-Island Nessie who won for the third time this season from 22 attempts. The 34-time winner has banked $273,416 to date.
