Jamie Hachey, president of Horse Racing New Brunswick Inc., has told Atlantic Post Calls that the new organization is moving forward “faster than we anticipated” and that racing may get underway in Saint John as early as March.

“We are in the midst of drawing up our stakes and special events schedule,” said Hachey, who said that the stakes calendar will be one of the items on the agenda for next week’s meeting.
