An accident occurred today at Kawartha Downs during the track’s qualifying session.

According to the charted results of Race 4, the horses in Post 1, 2 and 3 all suffered interference as the gate pulled away.

Legal Motion (who started from Post 1 with driver Fred Brethour) and Tymal Condor (PP2, Brad Rae) were charted as making interference breaks and being distanced for the rest of the mile.

Mya Mutt (PP3, Cindy Horner) was charted as making an early interference break, falling to the track and not finishing the race.

The track was listed as 'sloppy.'
