Timberline Court was a repeat winner in the $9,900 Open Pace at Northlands Park on Saturday night, wrapping up a training triple for Gerry Hudon.

Driven by Hudon, the popular pacer sat third through opening panels of :28.1 and :57.3 before surging by the leading Trust The Artist (Brandon Campbell) and opening up four lengths on the field by the 1:25.3 third quarter station. Timberline Court added another two lengths to his lead as he paced home in :28.3 for the 1:54.1 triumph. The longest shots on the board, Smooth Criminal (Bill Tainsh Jr.) and another Hudon trainee KG Art Dreamer (Don Monkman Jr.), rounded out the top three finishers.

Timberline Court paid $4.20 to win for the second consecutive week.

The eight-year-old With Held gelding picked up his 34th career win and lifted his bankroll over the $350,000 mark for Hudon and breeder R. Lynn Kowalevsky of Airdrie, Alta.

Earlier on the 12-race card, four-time Saturday winner Brandon Campbell drove first-time starter KG Dragonator to victory lane in the second race for Hudon over stablemate Shade Of Pale before Hudon steered KG Rowan to the winner's circle in the fifth.
