Victory Is Coming took the point with a quarter-pole move, then held on late to win her second straight in Monday’s $22,500 Filly & Mare Preferred Trot at The Meadows

Sitting third early, Victory Is Coming moved aggressively for Mike Wilder over the sloppy surface. The five-year-old daughter of Victory Sam-Norse Comer had just enough to survive the late charge of Allthatnabagofchip by a neck in 1:59. Trotslikethewind was a rallying third.
Ammon Hershberger trains Victory Is Coming, who now boasts $264,423 in career earnings, for Betty Shaw and John Red Shaw.
Eric Ledford drove three winners on the 15-race card.
