Riley Trainees Triple At Kawartha

Kawartha Downs' 2012 leading conditioner returned to his winning ways at the Fraserville, Ont. oval on Saturday night with three of his trainees turning in top performances during the 10-race card.

Teaming up with driver Brad Rae, Riley scored a win every three races beginning in the third with seven-year-old pacing mare Hudson Gal ($6.40). Five-year-old trotting mare Who Took That ($4.60) and 10-year-old pacer Siddall ($3.50) completed the triple.

Amanda Riley owns all three winners with Hank Coyle sharing ownership of Who Took That and Siddall.

The 24-year-old Roseneath, Ont. trainer enjoyed a career year in 2012 with 46 wins and close to $200,000 earned in purses. Saturday's three scores bumped his lifetime total to 134 while his earnigns climbed to over $770,000.
