The Inside Track

What is your greatest racing accomplishment?

Winning the North America Cup. I picked Sporstwriter out as a colt and put a

lot of work towards training him and building a foundation and it paid off!

What do you like to do in your free time?

I don't have a lot of free time, but when I do, I like to play cards, go to the movies,

and cook! I love having people over and preparing large meals for them!

What is one thing you look for in a yearling?

The most important thing to look for is a sharp eye. The horse has to tell you s

omething through their eyes. Sportswriter and Art Colony sent a chill down my

spine when they looked at me. I couldn't believe it and I just had to have those horses!

What horse is/was your favourite? Why?

This is a tough one! My all time favourite horse is probably Into The Future.

He was a little crazy, difficult to jog, and usually wouldn't let anyone except me

take him out of the barn, but he gave it all he had every single race.

I used to sleep on him in his stall at Flamboro waiting for the races to start.

I loved that horse and probably claimed him back ten times!
