Mildred Williams International Driving Series

The Mildred Williams International Female Driving Series is bigger and better!

The series, that started on April 19 at Rideau Carleton Raceway and will wrap up November 4 at Hippodrome de Montreal, will raise money for various charities, including the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the Children's Wish Foundation and the Victory Center.

Named in honour of pioneering female harness driver Mildred Williams, the series was hosted at 11 tracks in 2006, but 37 venues spread across the United States and Canada are on board to host legs this year.

Every female driver who participates in the series will donate her driver earnings to the outlined local charities specific to each track.
