Longtime harness racing industry participant Mark McNeil "Mark" Jamieson of Oxford, N.S. passed away on Jan. 24, 2024 at the age of 45.
Mark worked at Oxford Frozen Foods for 21 years while also working in the Standardbred industry as a groom.
Mark is survived by his parents Rod and Raelene, sister Coralee Graves (Noah) brother Andy (Tamara), nephews Matthew and Jordan Graves, Emmett Jamieson, and niece Nora Jamieson. Mark is survived by his grandmothers Pauline Jamieson and Shirley Patriquin and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents Frank Jamieson and Gerald and Cora Patriquin. Mark leaves behind special cousins Jody and Brandy Jamieson and special friend Janet Elliott and Bruce Brown. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Cremation will take place with funeral arrangements announced at a later date. Donations may be made in Mark's memory to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
