On Easter Sunday, some got chocolate, some received a mouth-watering meal. Owner Ian Fromowitz received a couple of gifts

, and neither were of the food variety.

Fromowitz told Trot Insider this morning that his mares Digga Digga p,4,1:50s ($523,604) and Red In The Face p,2,1:51.3s ($171,764) each foaled yesterday at High Stakes Farm in Moffat, Ont.

A multiple Fillies and Mares Open winner on the Woodbine Entertainment Group circuit, Digga Digga (Pacific Fella--Beh Shert, by Presidential Ball) gave birth to an Art Major colt, while Red In The Face (Red River Hanover--Pretty Darling, by Falcon Seelster) brought a Mach Three colt into the world. The colts were the first foals for each mare.

"Digga Digga had a beautiful foal and we're also very excited about Red In The Face's foal," Fromowitz told Trot Insider. "They're both beautiful colts and we are really looking forward to the future of these two.

"Digga Digga was a very tough mare on Canada's top circuit, and Red In The Face lowered the Mohawk track record at two before we had to retire her due to injury, unfortunately."

Fromowitz also told Trot Insider that two of his other broodmares, Did Dits and Lookettepoedunk, should be delivering foals any day now. The former is in foal to Mach Three and the latter to Art Major.

Can't wait to see Digga Digga's baby boy -- even thought of a name "Major Digga". Always loved watching her race. Marie Stoyles-Moura
