Millionairess Moving Pictures posed for a fair share of photos over the course of her standout career, but has now passed the torch to her first foal, a filly by

Badlands Hanover which was born last night around midnight.

Trained by Casie Coleman, Moving Pictures was voted Canada’s Older Pacing Mare of the Year in 2007 after sweeping all of the nation’s major stakes – the Milton, Breeders Crown, Roses Are Red and Classic Distaff – that year. The seven-year-old daughter of D M Dilinger-Killer Queen was retired to the breeding shed in early 2009 after suffering a torn suspensory during a training trip.

Trot Insider snapped a shot of the new born foal today with Moving Pictures and Coleman, who is open to name suggestions.
