Angel Of My Dreams completed a sweep of the Autumn Series for trotting fillies at The Raceway at Western Fair District with a blowout victory in the $22,600 final on Friday night (Oct. 21).

The series was for Ontario-sired two and three-year-old trotting fillies that were non-winners of $10,000 lifetime.

A few fillies made early breaks while Angel Of My Dreams emerged along the inside with the lead. She gave way to a parked out Miss Tory past the :29.2 quarter but quickly retook command in front of the stands on the way to the half in 1:00.3. Angel My Dreams then began to gain some separation on her rivals down the backstretch to three-quarters in 1:31 before taking off. All alone on the lead turning for home, the Thomas Riley trainee won by 14-3/4 lengths in a career-best 2:01.4 with Travis Henry along for the ride. In the race for place, 89-1 longshot Deity Seelster (Ondre Gois) advanced first-up to get by Miss Tory (Bruce Richardson) late.

A three-year-old daughter of Archangel out of Always Dreaming, Angel Of My Dreams is owned by Donald Mitchell of Georgetown, Ont. and Douglas Elen of Georgetown, Ont. The series sweep counts as her first three wins through seven career starts, boosting her bankroll to $22,350.

Bet down to odds of 1-9, the popular filly paid $2.20 to win.

Favourites also delivered in a pair of Preferred events later on the card.

With Tyler Borth catch-driving for trainer Clifford McGuire, Mohawk Park invader Miss Rockadali ($2.80) was a 1:56.1 wire-to-wire winner in the $12,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred Handicap Pace. The seven-year-old daughter of Dali notched the 11th win of her $100,000+ campaign besting Beach Moment and Ladies From Hell for owner Nancy McGuire of Bell River, Ont.

Travis Henry picked up the winning catch-drive aboard London newcomer Roll With The Flow ($2.90), who led the outer flow at the half out of the three-hole and drew off by five lengths in the $13,000 Preferred Handicap Pace for the 1:54.3 score. Trainer Blake MacIntosh shares ownership of the sophomore son of Roll With Joe, who was third in last month's New York Sire Stakes Championships, with Hutt Racing Stable and Middlebrook Racing L P. Pembroke Legacy N finished second while Prestige Seelster inherited third when show finisher Bolt Power was placed fourth for causing interference.
