The loss of Amour Angus is sad indeed. She signified the importance that she and other top broodmares can have on the breeding industry. Mares of her quality in production are worth their weight in gold.

So Sorry to hear of your loss ! YES ! Amour Angus was a Great Mare, One that will not be forgotten, It goes to show the Ups and Downs in this Industry, Its not everyday you come across a mare like her ! A Big loss not only to Mr Leavitt and his Wife, but to their Farm , and the Horse Industry as well. Although she is no longer with us, You have done her well Mr Leavitt, Amour Angus will live on though her genetic legecy !
Yes, Amour Angus was one of Quebecs Pride and Joy !

Amour Angus is a mare who radically improved trotters as we know them. Has any mare ever produced three brothers as dominant both in the breeding shed & on the track? I understand Adams Hall is breeding & racing in Europe as well- another son of Amour Angus. She obviously passed on something special to her foals, something that couldn't have been predicted from just looking at her bloodlines on paper. What a loss to Walnut Hall & the sport. Amour Angus will live on for generations to come, through her incredible genetic legacy.

What a wonderful mare, she was another living proof of what the province of Quebec can produce.
