Jody Jamieson has been invited to take part in Milton’s 2015 Sports Celebrity Dinner and will be presented with his Canadian driving colours and helmet for the 2015 World Driving Championship during the evening.

TSN’s Rod Black will emcee the event, coordinated by the Milton Chamber of Commerce, which takes place at Rattlesnake Golf Club in Milton on Tuesday, February 3.

The other Sports Celebrities that will join Jamieson include: former Toronto Maple Leaf player Darcy Tucker, figure skating star, Kurt Browning, and Olympic bronze medalist spring canoeist, Mark Oldershaw. Two-time Grey Cup champion quarterback Henry Burris and former Canadian basketball team coach turned Raptors analyst Leo Rautins are also slated to attend.

The Sports Celebrity Dinner & Auction has become one of Milton’s most talked about events, raising the profile of the Milton Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber Scholarship Fund. Fast becoming one of the “must-attend” events of the Chamber calendar, the Sports Celebrity Dinner & Auction brings together sports heroes and sports enthusiasts alike.

Organized by a volunteer committee of Chamber members, the evening’s program includes an autograph signing session, a cocktail reception and gourmet meal, and a silent and live auction. The finale of the evening will be the presentations made by the keynote celebrity speakers.

Proceeds from this event go towards the Chamber Scholarship Fund, funding local students in their post-secondary education.

Many local businesses support and sponsor the event including Woodbine Entertainment Group.

Tickets are $175 each and can be purchased by emailing [email protected] or calling (905) 878-0581.
