Buffalo Raceway Welcomes New Horsemen’s Bookkeeper

Harness racing at Buffalo Raceway

Vince Urciuoli of Staten Island, New York will be joining the Buffalo Raceway staff as the new Horsemen’s Bookkeeper.

Urciuoli worked for the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent for 32 years. Along with his extensive financial background, he also has experience in the harness racing industry as an amateur driver. Urciuoli competed as a driver in the popular Monticello Series in the 1990s, the Battle of the Bosses amateur race, where he won his elimination behind Hi Po Bay Myst, trained by Shaun Vallee, and finished an honourable fourth in the final.

Urciuoli is excited to be a part of the Western New York harness racing circuit and looks forward to working with the horsepeople. To help with his new role, Buffalo Raceway is asking for all trainers, drivers and owners to complete and turn in their purse authorization form prior to the start of the meet. The form is available at buffaloraceway.com under the "Horsemen" and "Forms" pages.
