Buckeye Bonanza At Scioto Saturday

The Buckeye Stallion Series will make up half of the 16-race card at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Saturday, September 11.

Five divisions of two-year-old colt pacers and three divisions of three-year-old filly pacers will go to the gate for the fourth leg of the BSS. Each race will have a purse of $17,500.

Eleven of the 40 colt pacers entered have wins in the Buckeye Stallion Series.

Moved Bythe Spirit, a son of Western Vintage, will look to remain perfect. The Timothy Lane trainee has wins in the first three legs. Two others — Dirge, trained by Brian Brown and Western Ready, trained by Scott Ferguson — have victories in two of the first three legs.

Other winners in the series include Self Made, Xenia, Shane Falco, Gratified, Parklane Hill, Robins Art, Western Depth and Fear No More.

The filly Pacers drew 28 with eight having scored wins in the series.

The only double winner is Pompatuse Of Love, a daughter of Mr Wiggles trained by Kimberly Dailey.

The other seven winners include Heavenissofaraway, Pal O Mine Hanover, Cousin Margie, Disaronno Hill, Finesse, Diamond Official, Saddle Up N Cruise and Nora Tova.

First race post time at Eldorado Scioto Downs is set for 6:15 p.m.

The fifth leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series is set for the Delaware County Fair, September 19-23.
