Up Down N Around, one of meet leading driver Corey Callahan's eight winners, won the $26,000 Mares Open/Handicap Trot on Tuesday

, February 2 at Dover Downs.

Callahan's eighth win behind Chosen Voyageur in the $15,000 sub-feature tied a record first set by Luc Ouellette in 1998, then again in 1999, equaled by Brad Hanners in 2005 and tied again in 2006 by Tony Morgan and Tim Tetrick.

In the feature, Callahan shot owner-trainer Charles Cochran's Up Down N Around past race leader Early Shirley and Jack Parker Jr. on the final turn and rolled on for a 1:54.3 victory in the week's top trot. JM Vangogh closed with a rush for Tony Morgan to finish second while DC Northern and Brad Hanners was third. The victory lifts the Enjoy Lavec-Ashleys Carousel gelding to a meet tying five wins.

In the $15,000 trot, Callahan drove Tamara Williams and trainer Dylan Davis' Chosen Voyageur home in 1:53.3, the second win of the meet for the Balanced Image-Ms Vic gelding. Ima Spur (Brad Hanners) was runner-up. Grey Ice (Sean Bier) picked up third money.

Callahan's first win came driving Doris Marine's Artistic Wonder to a 1:54.3 victory in a Delaware $10,000 claimer. Chastity Dege's Bojangles N got up between horses in 1:56 to win a Delaware $7,500 claimer. The 31-year-old reinsman then guided Baron Racing Stable's veteran Little Amos to a 1:53 win in a $15,000 Male Claiming Allowance and Craig Prettyman's Celii N from off the pace to victory in 1:52.3 taking a Delaware $12,500 claimer. After driving Up Down N Around in the $26,000 feature, Callahan drove Art Brewer's Big League Yankee, an 18-1 shot, to a 1:53 score in a $20,000 Male Claiming pace, the Baron Racing Stable's second winner and Josh Green's second training win, I Wanna Race, in a $9,500 $4&5-Year-Old pace, and closed out the eventful night with Chosen Voyageur in the 14th race. The best he could do in the final race was a second-place finish.
