Mister Big Fee Announced; Some Tara Hills Fees Reduced

In addition to announcing the stud fee for $4 million earner Mister Big and other newcoming stallions, Tara Hills Stud has also announced 2010 stud fees and adjustments for its star-studded stallion roster

Mister Big's standout career came to a close this past weekend in a division of the American National Stakes at Illinois' Balmoral Park. From 85 career starts, the six-year-old son of Grinfromeartoear paced to a record of 34-20-11. In addition to solid success at two and three, the bay proved to be a force in the sports aged division, capturing multiple high-end stakes.

Mister Big retired with a record of 1:47.4 taken over the Meadowlands and banked $4,143,492. Mister Big will be standing the 2010 breeding season at Tara Hills for a fee of $7,500.

Another new addition to the Tara Hills Stud roster is 2008 Woodrow Wilson and Metro Pace winner Major In Art, who will be standing his first season at the Port Perry, Ont. facility for a fee of $5,000.

Top Tara Hills Stud stallions which will be standing for reduced fees in 2010 include Majestic Son ($10,000 reduced to $9,000), Amigo Hall ($6,000 to $5,000), Million Dollar Cam ($4,000 to $3,000), Mr Lavec ($4,500 to $3,500) and Thunder Road ($2,500 to $2,000).
