Wiggle It Jiggleit Favoured In Jug Pool

Owner George Teague Jr. thinks his gelding Wiggle It Jiggleit could be one of the greatest three-year-old pacers of all time. The bettors in the Little Brown Jug Future Pool #1 agree and made the son of Mr Wiggles a decisive favourite.

Should Wiggle It Jiggleit win the Little Brown Jug presented by Fazoli’s on September 24, his backers will receive $1.10 on their $1.00 bet.

Dudes The Man was the second choice at 4-1 and Artspeak was third at odds of 10-1.

North America's leading pacer, Wiggle It Jiggleit has won 16 of 18 starts this season and has banked more than $1.4 million. He is owned by George Teague Jr., driven by his son Montrell Teague and trained by Clyde Francis.

Wiggle It Jiggleit won the $706,000 Meadowlands Pace, $500,000 Max Hempt Final, $500,000 Battle of the Brandywine and the $405,000 Carl Milstein Memorial. The win in the Meadowlands Pace will allow his connections to supplement the pacer into the Little Brown Jug for $45,000.

The 4-1 second choice is the Adios Pace champion, Dudes The Man. The American Ideal colt is owned by M & L of Delaware LLC and Victoria Dickerson. The ultra-consistent colt has finished on the board in 11 of 12 seasonal starts. Dudes The Man will leave from the rail in this weekend’s $500,000 Messenger Stakes at Yonkers Raceway.

The second future pool will be from 12 p.m. Sunday, September 20 through 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, the first three afternoons of Grand Circuit racing at the Delaware County Fair.
