The faces remain the same, but the numbers are bigger and better.

As Canadian harness racing hits the quarter pole of the race that is 2015, the individuals atop the leaderboard of wins, purse earnings and percentage are identical from one month ago.

Sylvain Filion will look to be the first driver to bank $1 million in purses this season. His total of $963,800 is best in the country, leading James MacDonald ($809,769) and Doug McNair ($783,425).

Alfie Carroll's win total of 117 leads all Canadian drivers for dashes won in 2015. The Iona Station resident holds a sizable lead over Robert Shepherd (98) and Billy Davis Jr. (76).

Bill Davis continues to produce with the same efficiency that netted him his second O'Brien Award of Horsemanship in 2014. The Langley, B.C. resident once again boasts both the nation's highest UDRS (among those with 65 or more starts) as a driver (0.458) and a trainer (0.552). Davis leads Travis Cullen (0.439) and Shepherd (0.369) on the driving side, and Isaac Waxman (0.469) and Isabelle Darveau (0.461) on the training side.

Richard Moreau's lead in the training wins column is 66-51 over second-best Patrick Shepherd. His lead in the earnings column is more impressive, almost double the next trainer. With $782,067 in purses earned in Canada, Moreau has more dough than the next two trainers combined as Carmen Auciello ($401,074) and Joe Cirosuola ($307,340) round out the top three.
