World Record Predictions

SCVideo-WorldRecords.jpg

Trainers and drivers offer their predictions for when and where harness racing's fastest pacing and trotting world records will be broken in this week's Standardbred Canada video feature.

The great Cambest, driven by Bill O'Donnell, holds the record to beat with a 1:46.1 mark taken in a time trial at Illinois State Fair in Springfield on August 16, 1993 while Enough Talk, driven by Ron Pierce, is the only trotter in the sport's history to win in sub-1:50 fashion with his 1:49.3 world record mile in the Patriot Trot at Colonial Downs in New Kent, Virginia on October, 11, 2008.

Do you think Cambest's 1:46.1 world record will ever be broken? Do you think another trotter will go sub-1:50? If so, when and where do you predict the records will be broken?
